Since September 2009 East Ayrshire Council has been working closely with Diageo and representatives from a number of other public and private sector organisations to develop a strategy for the sustainable economic regeneration of Kilmarnock.

The Make it Kilmarnock initiative has 4 key objectives:

• to nurture new and existing businesses within the town
• to build on the town’s strength as a place of learning
• to establish the town as a visitor destination
• to support growth in Kilmarnock’s town centre

We hope to bring you a new website to promote the work of Make it Kilmarnock very soon.
