THE FIRST MR AND MRS JOHNNIE WALKER!

JW weddingThe first ever ‘Johnnie Walker’ wedding took place last weekend, adding a special touch to the ‘Keep Johnnie Walker in Kilmarnock’ campaign.

Kilmarnock’s Ainsley and Steven, the new Mr and Mrs Gibson, decided to back the campaign by wearing Johnnie Walker masks on their big day (after the official nuptials had been carried out of course!). The couple were married at St Joseph’s Church in Kilmarnock followed by a reception at the Grand Hall.

If you are getting married in the next few weeks, then log on to www.keepjohnniewalkerinkilmarnock.com, download the Johnnie Walker masks, have your photo taken with them on and send it into: jwcampaign@east-ayrshire.gov.uk. Your photo will then appear on the website.

  1. I am so proud of my son and his new wife on their wedding day a great tribute to his auntie who worked for diageo for thirty years
